Supporting the base of the big esplanade, this monumental hall with 86 (originally intended to be 100) doric columns was previewed as a large space that might serve as marketplace, as Park Guell was originally planned to be a luxurious housing site. The bright and luminous hall is a place where you can hear your own footsteps as you pass by, with an unordinary elegant ceiling with mosaics symbolizing the sun and the moon.
