On a foundation of 120 x 35 m, the Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Art was conceived around a vertical central circular volume, from which four exposition spaces are built, each possessing four floors. The rationalist architect Richard Meier referred mostly to Le Corbusier, associating curvy and straight lines together.
