The sunny Royal Plaza was designed in 1848, on the place where an ancient convent once stood. It’s a work by Francesc Daniel Molina. A marvelous place to stay awhile and take a quick rest after an exhausting visit to the lively streets of Barcelona. It’s a pleasure to sit down on a bench, under the shades of a palm tree, or at one of the café-terraces, sipping your chilly cervecita, watching people go by.
