Located on the borders of the Barri Gotic, The Royal Plaza, or Plaça Reial in Spanish, is connected directly to Les Rambles by the Ferran Square. A vast rectangular space, the Royal Plaza has its own charms from the arcades of ochre-colored houses surrounding it, but also from its beautiful central fountain, its lanterns created by Gaudi, and perhaps also its many palm trees that give it a sort of Caribbean flair.
