The vast esplanade of the 1992 Summer Olympics was designed and erected by architects Federico Correa, Alfonso Mila, Carles Buixade and Joan Margarit. A science-fiction-styled landscape right in the middle of green slopes, planted with pines and eucalyptuses at the Catalan coast.
