The Hill of Montjuic, Barcelona’s green lung and the city’s largest park, lies between the maritime façade dominated by the hill through its curvy stone relief.
Atop the hill erects the Castell de Montjuic, among its natural woods. Since 1890, Montjuic has gone through a vast development project following the plan for an International Exhibition in 1929.
Here you can find the Palau Nacional, the Font Magica, the Estadi Olimpic (Olympic Stadium), the Poble Espanyol, the Joan Miro Foundation, as well as a vast network of parks and gardens, including the Botanical Garden.
